As founder of Orbital People and with decades of recruitment experience, Geoffrey Dunnett has sat on both sides of the table.
Geoff has been working in technology recruitment for over 25 years and has helped to recruit a wide range of tech talent with clients ranging from startups to global organisations.
We are not just recruiters. We are problem solvers and relationship builders.

Geoffrey Dunnett

Geoffrey started his recruitment career in 1997, throughout his long career in the technology space, Geoffrey has worked in and managed recruitment teams in the UK and Australia.
Geoffrey ensures both clients and candidates have complete transparency, is highly personable, professional, accountable and communicative throughout the process, treating people how he would want to be treated.
Having spent many years based in the UK and Australia, Geoffrey co-founded Hubnet Global in 2003 and successfully exited in 2007, he then founded Orbital Recruitment Group in 2008, based in Sydney, recruiting across Australia and Asia before returning to the UK in 2018.
On a more personal note, Geoffrey is a dual UK/Australian Citizen and maintains strong personal and business relationships in Australia. He happens to be a 6ft 8”, an ex-rugby player and rower that still enjoys getting to the gym regularly, hitting the rowing machine and lifting weights to stay mentally and physically fit. Most importantly he is a dedicated father with shared custody to an 8 year old boy and an amazing relationship with my boys mother Sophie Skardon who also works within the business.
